The Pentair 071439Z is a genuine OEM tank O-ring for Purex SM and SMBW 4000 Series D.E. pool and spa filters. It seals the joint between the filter tank halves, preventing water from bypassing the media and keeping full flow through the filter so filtration efficiency is maintained.

The ring measures approximately 19¼″ inside diameter with a cross-section thickness near ½″, giving an exact fit in SM and SMBW 4000 Series filters manufactured in compatible date ranges. Uniform compression around the tank seam helps reduce filter wear and extend service life.
